Nextide was formed in 2000 by a group of dedicated IT professionals fixated on ways that business could evolve and prosper on the web. Almost from the start, Nextide was drawn to the open-source community as a means to cost effectively deliver web based services that were typically only affordable by the largest corporations.
Today, Nextide still challenges the premiums demanded by many large commercial providers of collaborative software and offers an afforadble alternative.

Nextide believes in, and supports the open-source business model. All products are either available for a reasonable support fee or a nominal one time charge. These fees contribute to just some of the costs associated with the on-going support and enhancement of the products.
Our principle means of revenue is from custom development and services that are layered on top of nexPro.
